Financing the Music
However, SNC faces challenges when it comes to financing his music. “Income for paying for a relatively good and decent studio session and stigmatisation of rap music,” he says, are two major obstacles he is facing.
But he is determined to follow in the footsteps of his local idol, the late Calvin, and reach new heights while representing Bulawayo and changing the way people feel about rap music.
“The aim is to work with a lot of local artists and try to lessen the challenges for future upcoming artists,” he shares.
Moreover, with a passion for music since childhood, SNC was inspired by a friend who showed him that becoming a singer/rapper was possible. His inspiration for his lyrics comes from what he sees in his surroundings and how he feels. He works with talented upcoming producers from the hood to create beats that fit his message.
SNC’s music is big on spreading love, giving hope, promoting mental health, and upholding family and social balance. He believes that music has the power to motivate and inspire people, and he uses his platform to bring positivity.

He says, “The most important thing is taking the good points and highlights.”
Lastly, future collaborations are on the horizon for SNC, but he wants to solidify his brand and following first. For SNC, music has always been a part of his personal life and what gets him and a lot of people going. His mission is to share his gift with the world and make a positive impact through his music.
